With Week 13 of the fantasy football season upon us, the search for that perfect tight end can make or break a team’s playoff aspirations. As the waiver wire becomes increasingly slim, strategic streaming becomes critical. Fortunately, this week’s lineup features a selection of tight ends who could provide the edge needed for victory. Fantasy football guru Michael Fabiano has highlighted several viable options, with Juwan Johnson emerging as a standout choice.
Juwan Johnson, the New Orleans Saints’ tight end, has steadily garnered attention for his reliable connection with quarterback Derek Carr. Johnson’s athleticism and ability to get open have made him a formidable target, especially in the red zone. Over the past few weeks, he’s demonstrated consistent performance, making him a top contender against a vulnerable Detroit Lions defense this weekend. Keep an eye on him, as his knack for finding the end zone might just clinch a few matchups.
Beyond Johnson, fantasy managers might consider Denver’s Greg Dulcich, who shows promising potential against a struggling Chargers secondary. Dulcich’s role in the Broncos’ offensive scheme has been expanding, and his chemistry with Russell Wilson offers reasons for optimism. Given the Chargers’ issues with conceding points to tight ends, Dulcich could surprise many with a robust performance.
Tyler Conklin from the Jets is another streamer to look at, especially with the team’s ongoing quarterback uncertainty. Conklin has been a go-to for short, reliable gains, acting as a safety net in high-pressure scenarios. His consistent targets make him a solid add for those looking to stabilize their roster with a dependable, if not explosive, choice.
As Week 13 approaches, examining each matchup closely and aligning your roster decisions with current form and strategic potential remains paramount. While Johnson tops Fabiano’s list, the opportunities provided by players like Dulcich and Conklin serve as a reminder that adaptability and foresight are key. Dive deep into the available talent and craft a lineup that not only addresses immediate needs but also sets you up for postseason glory. Embrace the challenge and wield your streamers wisely.
